About

I am a dairy scientist and nutritionist. My family resides in Michigan. WIth more than 0.4 million dairy cows, Michigan has a progressive dairy industry, ranking 6th in milk production in the US and 2nd in milk production per cow.

I received my advanced degrees in dairy nutrition and physiology from University of Wisconsin-Madison and Kansas State University. My doctoral research focused on investigating the interactions between inflammation and metabolism and developing strategies to improve immune function and health of dairy cows. After a brief postdoctoral research at the University of Michigan in biomedical sciences, I joined Quality Liquid Feeds, Inc. (QLF) and provide nutrition and technical support to dairy producers.
